Roland Ginger

As the Coordinator, Pathways and Placements, Roland plays a vital role in supporting and empowering innovators with academic advice throughout their learning journey. As an Indigenous staff member, Roland is committed to promoting understanding and awareness of Indigenous issues and histories within the tech sector and innovation sectors as he helps learners transition to career paths.

Roland has more than seven years of experience working with Indigenous learners in different school districts. Roland also has five years of experience teaching the English language in various countries and he is proud to have helped many immigrants successfully complete the Canadian Immigration Visa Program and other educational and career aspirations. For decades, Roland has also provided daily support for people with disabilities in program and home-care settings.

Drawing from his rich experiences and exceptional passion for helping others, Roland creates safe and inclusive learning environments that recognize and respect the diverse cultures and perspectives of Indigenous Peoples.
