As the Manager, Communications and Engagement, Dudley is responsible for working cross-divisionally to ensure Indigenous Peoples living in BC and key stakeholders are informed about Technology Council programs and initiatives.
An energetic, results-driven communications and digital marketing professional, Dudley has worked for several years with First Nations communities providing strategic support to elected leaders. Dudley has also worked as a consultant, fostering meaningful community dialogue, and optimizing digital platforms for clients in cannabis, tourism, government, and crown corporations. Dudley’s work is driven by a strong belief that technology is a vehicle to nurture the resilience and independence of First Nations. He is excited to use modern, data-informed communications and engagement strategies to help ensure Indigenous Peoples have the tools, education, and support to thrive in today’s digital age.
Dudley holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University, a diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria, and an International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate.
Originally from Northern Ontario, Dudley is grateful to live on the traditional and unceded territory of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, and Syilx Peoples, also known as Nelson, BC.
