About This Course

This course brings you to a level of understanding that allows you to participate in today’s digital society, whether it’s for everyday use or to prepare for one of our intermediate or advanced courses.

This course is designed for learners who may be:

  • Preparing to take Foundations or our other Programs
  • Working in a new virtual environment
  • Parents who are homeschooling
  • Adult learners curious about tech education and careers
  • Elders seeking computer skills

Learning Outcomes

  • Operate and maintain a computer safely and securely
  • Adjust system and software settings
  • Use word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and workplace software applications
  • Use cloud-based systems
  • Basic computer system maintenance to keep computers healthy

An internet connection and the ability to join a Zoom call.
